Privacy
The short version: we collect what we need to plan your trip and send the emails you asked for, we don't sell it, we don't use advertising trackers, and you can have it deleted at any time.
What we collect
- Trip inquiries — your name, email, trip details, dietary needs and anything you write to us.
- The Shortlist and dispatches — your email, name and the travel preferences you choose, so we only send deals that match.
- Clients — details of trips we book for you, so we can support you on the road and plan the next one.
- Site statistics — page views and referring sites, counted without cookies. Visitors are counted using a one-way hash that changes daily, so we cannot recognize you across days or identify you.
- Email links — links in our emails go through our own site so we can count which deals are useful. We do not use tracking pixels.
Cookies
The public site sets no cookies. Our own staff sign in to an admin area that uses a single essential session cookie.
Who processes it for us
Vercel (hosting), Neon (database, US), Amazon Web Services (email delivery and image hosting), Cloudflare (bot protection and image delivery) and Trigger.dev (scheduled email sending). Bookings are made through Fora Travel, our host agency, and shared with the hotels and suppliers involved in your trip — including your dietary needs, which is the point.
How long we keep it
Subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe and ask us to delete it. Client and booking records are kept as long as needed for accounting and legal obligations.
Your choices
Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link and a link to update your preferences. To get a copy of your data or have it deleted, email contact@secanttravel.com and we will respond within 30 days.
