(02) — Services

Services

Three ways to work with Secant. All include the preferred-partner network and your dietary needs sent to every hotel.

01

Vetted hotel booking

No planning fee

Send us your dates and where you're going. We'll book the property at the best public rate, with preferred-partner perks, and send your dietary needs to the hotel so vegetarian and vegan options are ready when you arrive.

  • Daily plant-based breakfast for two
  • Room upgrades when available
  • Hotel credits ($100–$300)
  • Dietary needs sent ahead
02

Bespoke trip design

$50 per person, per day

For multi-stop or multi-week trips. We build the whole shape of it — hotels, transfers, guides, dinner reservations — around how you eat, with vegetarian and vegan options confirmed at every hotel. Planning is $50 per person per day of travel, quoted up front; a couple on a ten-day trip pays $1,000.

  • Day-by-day itinerary, meals included
  • Restaurant reservations
  • Market tours & cooking classes
  • 24/7 on-trip support
03

Group & retreat travel

Custom quote

Wellness weeks, yoga retreats, founder off-sites, family reunions where half the table is vegan and the other half is skeptical. Venues with kitchens that can carry both.

  • Venue sourcing & menu negotiation
  • Transfers & rooming lists
  • Menu & programming coordination
  • On-site coordinator option
(02.b) — How it goes

From the first email to the day you fly home.

01
Inquiry
You send a note. We read it ourselves, and reply within one business day with a few clarifying questions and a sense of what's possible at your budget.
02
Discovery call
A 30-minute call on pace, vibe, and how you eat — strict vegan, vegetarian, mostly plant-based, allergies layered on top. No deck, no script.
03
Proposal
A short document with two or three shapes the trip could take, with real hotels, real prices, and the reasoning behind each.
04
Booking
We confirm hotels, guides, transfers, and the dinner reservations that need to be in three months early. Every hotel gets your dietary needs in writing. You sign off as we go.
05
On the ground
We're a text away, 24/7, the entire trip. If a transfer falls through at midnight, we're the ones fixing it.
06
After
A short debrief. What worked, what didn't. The next trip is usually easier because we now know how you travel.
(02.c) — Practicalities

Common questions.

01How are you compensated?

Hotels and cruise lines pay us a commission on bookings — the rate you pay is the same as booking direct, but you get the preferred-partner perks on top. For itinerary design, we charge a planning fee of $50 per person per day of travel, quoted up front before any work begins.

02Will I pay more going through you?

No. Hotels honor their best public rate (BAR) for advisor bookings, and rate-match if a lower rate appears. You get the perks for free.

03What's the minimum trip you take on?

For hotel bookings, a single night is fine. For full itinerary design, the math works best on trips around $5k+ in total spend.

04Do I have to be fully vegan or vegetarian?

No. Most clients are somewhere on the spectrum — vegan at home, vegetarian on the road, or traveling with someone who is. We plan for the strictest person at the table and make sure everyone else eats well too.

05How do you handle dietary needs?

We send your restrictions to every hotel in writing before you arrive and confirm they will have vegetarian or vegan food for you. We haven't eaten everywhere we book, so we tell you what the hotel has confirmed.

06How far in advance should I plan?

For peak weeks (holidays, August in Europe, blossom season in Kyoto) — six to nine months. For a long weekend in Mexico City — one month is plenty.
